Huntington Fly-In Sept 28-29

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your passengers to the UBCP Fall Fly-in at Huntington, UT. The airport is 69V, and is located in central Utah http://www.airnav.com/airport/69V . This will be the third year that the Huntington Airport has invited UBCP and once again they are going all out. There will be plenty of food. Snacks and such will be out all day Friday. Saturday morning breakfast is free as will be the hosted dinner Saturday evening. This year, we are having dinner at Huntington State Park, about a mile from the airport. Transportation will be provided. The airport has up-dated and enlarged the camping area. As always, the shower and bathrooms are sparking clean. Fuel will be available with an expected price of $5.40 which makes it one of the lowest in Utah.

You can tour the back country or take part in several activities at the airport on Saturday.  There will be a 8-position sporting clays course set up around the dirt runways. There will be a charge of $7.00 per 25 clays - bring your own shotgun and ammo. The county will have a van or two on hand for those who may want to visit the Natural History Museum in Castledale or drive out to the "Wedge" Overlook or any number of other locations. The county has also invited the local car club to display their cars on Saturday. There will be special marshallers to make parking airplanes safer.

This has become a fun event and we look forward to it. The weather seems to be perfect every year at this time. We hope to see you there.
