See Page, Arizona like you’ve never seen before at the 4th Annual Wings & Wheels Air Affaire on Saturday, October 19, at the Page Municipal Airport.

Here’s your chance to experience a free flight in a private plane, take a helicopter ride, watch skydivers drop from the sky, see vintage planes fly in formation, view classic cars on display and so much more. The event is open to everyone and free for the whole family. Local pilots LeRoy Wicklund and Mike Makowski will be giving free plane rides for first-time flyers on a first-come first-served basis. Young Eagles will be offering free flights to kids under 18. The CJ6 military trainers will be back on display and performing their famous fly-bys. Model airplanes will be on exhibit. Classic cars will be showing their stuff. Several hangars will be open for viewing. New this year are experimental aircraft, ultralights, helicopter rides, skydiving demonstrations and more. Plus there will be music, prizes, food and fun. Follow WingsWheelsAirAffaire on Facebook for the latest updates.

Fly-Out to North Las Vegas

Pat Carroll has proposed a fun fly-out which will I will describe here. What we want for now is a list of who is interested and suggested dates within the next two weeks.
Here is the proposal with a suggested schedule as quoted from Pat's idea:
Arrive in North Las Vegas about noon, lunch nearby at 1300, an optional movie starting around 14:00-14:30 (movie "Planes" suggested), back at airport 16:00-16:30, takeoff 17:00-17:30 to get home 18:00-18:30 safely in daylight for those of us exercising the LS privileges.

Again, for now please let me know who is interested and suggested dates within the next two weeks.
